Create Your Own Massage Candle

Create a sensual massage candle to ignite the throws of passion this Valentine’s Day

Our NEW high quality Nature Wax C6 is all natural Soy and Coconut blend with no nasties or additives. Nature wax C6 is a soft low melting point luxurious blend of natural vegetable wax and is ideal for massage candle making due to its nourishing elements for the skin.

As the candle burns, the melted wax can be poured directly onto skin and used as massage oil.

Massage Candle Instructions

This recipe makes one (1) Heart Shaped Aluminium Tin with CDN 18 wicks.

*  90grams of Nature Wax C6 Soy/Coconut Blend

(Soy Wax when liquefied into soybean oil is rich in essential fatty acid and antioxidants, has a good slippage and smooth texture all of which can nourish your skin when applied topically. Coconut wax, when liquefied into coconut oil, has a light consistency with a silk texture, creating the perfect blend)

*  30 ml Grapeseed Oil

(Loaded with powerful antioxidants and produces a good slippage factor, can be found at any good supermarket)

*  2ml Candle Supply Premium Fragrance OR 2ml Candle Supply Pure Essential Oil

1. Measure out wax, place in a double boiler

2. Melt on low-medium heat, stirring occasionally, until melted.

3. Add Grapeseed oil stir gently and remove from heat.

4. Add fragrance or essential oil and stir.

(Only use skin safe fragrance and essential oil. https://www.candlesupply.com.au/soap-making/soap-safe-fragrances.html )

5. Pour into tin.

6. When the candle has set, trim excess wick to 5mm .  For best results let the candle set for 24 hours.

7. Light, create the mood, melt and pour.

Once you’ve mastered the art of making a basic massage candle, don’t be afraid to experiment with additional ingredients such as butters and other body oils such as primrose oil or even olive oil.
