Our Clam Shell melt moulds are made from 0.6mm thick PVC not 0.3mm twice as thick as most on the market. This makes them stronger with less distortion and makes for easier pouring. They are not effected by the heat of the wax if poured at recomended temperatures.

    Clam shell melts

    Love them- only issue is I poured the wax in to hot and 1) completely melted and some of the others have went to a weird shape? But that one was on me 🤣 after a few attempts I figured out a good temp to pour

    Yes there is an optimal pour temperature of 60degC which is noted on the product page which I’m sure you found :)
