We recommend using two wicks to achieve the ideal flame size for a particular application. Two wicks will increase the liquid wax supply for combustion. Mixing 2 different wick widths is also a great way of achieving the ideal performance, as it allows you to fine tune the wick sizing.

    Ive been purchasing wooden wicks for a few years now and they all came with the metal base but not yours so it cost me again to purchase them. Wasn't happy.

    Hi Donna, I am very sorry to hear this, however you should allways double check details like this when changing suppliers of any materials
    Tt is noted quite clearly that the precision clips are purchased separately, this is the wording from the product page which is quite clear

    This did not work for me. It has a tiny flame, and it goes out constantly.

    Hi David, thanks for your feedback. Can you please let me know if you used two wood wicks in one clip? because we allways reccomend to use two wood wicks together in one clip to get an effective burn.
    One other suggestion is to ensure you cut the wicks around 10mm from the wax to allow a reasonable first burn before the wax starts melting, as I have found if the wick is cut too short it also struggles to get an effective burn

    Disappointed with #8 Wood Wicks

    #8 Wood wicks will not light. Had to replace every product that i used with these wicks when testing FAILED..Nothing wrong with the other sizes that i regularly use, e.g. 3, 4 & 5 Sizes are brilliant - 5 stars.
